Head Coach Kenny Miller

Kenny Miller took over as Cherokee head coach on October 29 2013, after being away from junior hockey for
two seasons he is right back where he started. He led the Toledo club to the playoffs for the franchises
22nd consecutive season. Miller will also handle the General Manager duties for the upcoming season.

Miller spent two seasons as assistant coach of the Toledo IceDiggers (NAHL) before being named head coach
of the club when it relocated to Alpena in 2005. He spent three seasons in Alpena where he led the team
to the playoffs twice in those three years. In the 2006-2007 Miller was named NAHL General Manager of the
year after his team won a franchise high 37 games.

Coach Miller then joined Alpena’s division rival Marquette where he help lead them to back to back winning
seasons and capturing the North Division title in the 2009-2010 season. The numbers of players Miller has
moved onto the college level are endless most notably Kevin Gravel (St. Cloud State, 4th rd pick of the LA
Kings) Shawn Hunwick (University of Michigan), Chad Billins (Ferris State, Grand Rapids Griffins), Tanner
Kero (Michigan Tech), Andrew Kolb (Wisconsin Stevens Pointe).

Kenny resides in Oregon OH with his wife of 18 years Stephanie and their 15-year old daughter Kadyn.
